Skin Rejuvenation

Anti-aging treatments currently represent around 50% of all aesthetic treatments. In medicine, there are numerous methods, including various surgical procedures. However, many patients prefer less invasive methods. The demand for these non-invasive methods to effectively improve skin structure without downtime is strongly increasing. In this regard, lasers offer various options depending on patients' needs. Lasers with different wavelengths and pulse lengths have been established for skin rejuvenation.

With a fractional ablative laser, the skin can be sectioned in a controlled manner. Wound healing leads to better collagen structure, reduced fine superficial wrinkles, and elimination of pigmentation spots in the epidermis, i.e., a younger-looking skin appearance. Erbium and CO2 lasers have been successfully used for skin rejuvenation for many years. They combine skin regeneration and collagen formation with rapid wound healing, supported by untreated skin and therefore with a very low risk of side effects. Wrinkles and scars are effectively reduced. Pores become smaller, and skin pigmentation becomes more uniform, contributing to an overall improved skin appearance.

While wrinkles can be well reduced with the help of ablative lasers, there are many other dermatological problems, such as pigment disorders, sun damage, acne, or thick-pored skin, that affect complexion and can be treated with a diode laser. This allows heating the epidermis with a wavelength of 810 nm, stimulating collagen production, increasing metabolism, and improving skin appearance (skin tightening, reduced pore size), pigmentation lightening, and reduction of fine wrinkles.

Pico and nano lasers are used for the non-invasive and painless treatment of wrinkles, lines, scars, and dyschromias. The lasers emit pulses of ultra-short energy and create a photomechanical effect. This breaks down pigments into small particles that the body can more easily break down through the lymphatic system. In addition to depigmentation, the laser also penetrates deeper layers of the skin and stimulates collagen and elastin formation, leading to skin renewal and improved texture. Sensitive areas of the face, eyes, neck, and décolleté, as well as the back of the hands, can be treated with special care and effectiveness.
